Chess is great for teaching young people to think, concentrate, reason, good sportsmanship and for making lifetime friends. Learn from one of the most popular and respected coaches in Southern California. Think Chess founder and President Michael Angelo Purcell.
Our goal at Think Chess is to promote the game of chess among our children and teenagers. The idea is not only to develop power of critical thinking and planning but also to improve our kids' problem-solving skills, bring them into a mature level and boost their moral, self-confidence, and enjoyment of healthy competition.
If you would like to host a class in your home please let us know. We have successfully hosted in home classes throughout the south bay and have formed teams for the Scholastic Amateur Team Championships.
